Bitdefender 32-Bit !EXCLUSIVE!
If the bitdefender setup version is downloading the 32 bit version, then it maybe that your system is 32 bit. Automatic installer has never failed in auto detecting the bit version of any user PC & till date there has not been any issue regarding bitdefender setup incorrectly detecting the bit of the PC for any user on this forum (as far as I know)
Sorry I am small business/home user with the same question - 32-bit or 64 bit? I've tried the "Control Panel->System(Classic View) and at System Type ...." suggestion from vladx but I don't see a "system type option" on my screen.
BitDefender2015 intrusion detection system is not valid on 64-bit systems, I tested 100 samples of the virus double-click (closed AVC) and IDS no response, this problem has existed for a long time not being used to solve around BitDefender users complain about being from IDS The 64 systems have yet to see this work is a very serious problem, I hope to attract your attention. Any 64-bit and 32-bit systems, intrusion detection systems, at least the difference between the 100, at least there will be double-click on the virus to intercept, would like to draw your attention, after all, the customer experience is the effective protection of your product, rather than repeatedly shirk and excuses. I am very familiar with the product features, you have been able to determine the BitDefender Intrusion Detection System 64 system failure in question is true, I hope you, thank you.
In 32-bit systems, intrusion detection systems BitDefender large number of samples can intercept threats, currently 64 systems have become mainstream systems, 32 systems have been eliminated, so I hope the official importance, AV-Comparatives test of real-world use of the system is 64, at 64 BitDefender intrusion detection system failure, just a decoration, do not block any malicious software. This row of 32 technical and 64 hook hook system technology system is not the same factor, because even if different, in the case of near 100 AVC Double-click the virus in some way to intercept, the results did not intercept the samples. And many 32-bit systems to intercept viruses AVC AVC same system 64 interceptions. However, some special AVC does not block virus, intrusion detection systems can intercept, but the current situation is that the system does not work for IDS 64, which for many users in the system 64 is not fair. Suggest that you will AVC and IDS functional integration, I know you have the use of virtualization technology AVC, then IDS also want to make use of AVC technology, so you can get rid of 64 system of restrictions on the HOOK. Otherwise you will always be a decoration at IDS 64 system, it might as well delete this component. So I suggest that IDS technology into AVC inside, which is achieved through.
May I ask for the specification of your operating system through dxdiag? and May I know where did you get the installer? Is that online? or from a CD? First of all try to check if there is antivirus that has been installed on your computer (also bitdefender) and much better if you manage to use system restore first before installing the file, might be their is a possibility is infected by a virus or got a glitch through a system update through windows 10.
Oh my this is a quite a while. Are you still getting the same issue? What have you done so far? It is a very rare issue I think. For instance I got the same experience that you have using but it is not a bitdefender software.
And if I install BitDefender AntiVirus Pro 2010 (32-bit) on this PC, I can open the container files on USB HDD without error. I copied one file to my local C-drive and opening it also causes a Windows-7 blue-screen.
One thing I noticed. As I mentioned above, I have Device Scanning turned OFF... BitDefender AntiVirus Pro 2011 (32-bit) still wants to scan my USB drives. I have C: and as internal HDD and one external HDD as USB.
When BitDefender AntiVirus Pro 2011 (32-bit) does a custom scan, despite my have only C and D drives chosen, it does a scan on my external USB HDD. I want to note I have only drives C and D checked. I have no other drives or devices checked.
