Will the essence of my life simply cease to be, like a candle whose flame is gently snuffed out? Will it be a violent process, the consequence of a senseless tragedy or of my own self-determination? Will it be the result of a horrible illness, an invisible assailant or biological defect that I am simply too weak to fight against?
